On the afternoon of April 24, Xidian University held the final round of the 9th "Zhongnan Cup" Campus Poetry Competition at Junren Auditorium, Chang'an Campus. The event marked the 105th anniversary of the CPC, the 90th anniversary of the Long March victory, and Xidian's 95th anniversary, promoting cultural education and the "Classics Glow China" reading initiative.

Guo Jun, Xidian's Deputy Secretary, and Tuo Yingxiang from the Ministry of Education attended the ceremony. The competition expanded to include primary, secondary, and university groups, with teams from five Shaanxi universities joining for the first time.

A highlight was the integration of AI: robots "Zhongnan" and "Caiwei" hosted and performed, while an AI-enabled poetry innovation exhibition showcased over 140 student works. Contest content includes traditional culture, revolutionary poetry, and Xi'an's Tang poetry heritage, featuring "Feihua Ling" and other appointed themes.

Expert judges included renowned scholars and Chinese Poetry Congress champion Peng Min. After intense rounds, teams from Pucheng Chengnan School, Xi'an No.24 Primary School, and Xidian's "Yan Ran Le Gong Team" won top prizes.

This grand event, blending humanities and technology, fostered cultural confidence and inherited Chinese classics and revolutionary spirit, empowering youth and cultural development.
