From October 25th to 28th, the 44th Shaanxi University Track and Field Championships were held at Xi’an Jiaotong University. In this provincial collegiate athletics competition, the track and field team from Xidian University (XDU) won 4 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal.

This year’s event attracted 1,425 athletes from 87 universities. XDU sent a team of 28 student athletes to compete. In addition to the individual honors, the women’s team got the fourth place, the men’s team placed sixth, and the combined team of both men and women reached fifth place.

The remarkable performance of XDU’s student athletes not only demonstrated their perseverance, sportsmanship, and pursuit of excellence, but also highlighted the university’s solid achievements in whole-person talent cultivation.
