The National Final Competition of the 2025 China International College Students’ Innovation Competition (CICSIC) organized by the Ministry of Education was held at Zhengzhou University from October 12th to 15th. Projects from Xidian University (XDU) received two Gold Awards and three Silver Awards.

With the support of XDU faculty members, a total of 1159 projects registered for the competition. After the university-level and provincial-level competitions, a total of 10 projects advanced to the National Final Competition. Ultimately, four projects passed the national review and entered the on-site final competition. And one international project participated in an online roadshow after passing multiple rounds of evaluation.

Two projects from School of Telecommunications Engineering and School of Mechano-Electronic Engineering received Gold Awards. Projects from the School of Telecommunications Engineering, Faculty of Integrated Circuits received Silver Awards, and the international project “EcoRIS: Low-Cost Intelligent Reflective Surface System” also achieved Silver Award.
