XDU Hosts 2025 Welcome Ceremony For New Students

On the evenings of September 21st and 26th, Xidian University 2025 Welcome Ceremony with the theme of “New Chapter Shines, Youth’s Voice Clear,” was successfully held at both North Campus and South Campus respectively. All together over ten thousand students and faculty members took part in the event. The whole event was instructed by the university departments and was organized by XDU Student Union and Postgraduate Association.

I. Rhythm of Tradition Meets Fashion of Today: The Most Meaningful “First Lesson”

The ceremony featured a captivating fusion of traditional and contemporary elements, creating a dialogue across time and space. The seamlessly connected performances not only showcased the distinctive features of Xi’an but also provided XDU students with a highly symbolic and memorable “First Lesson” in their university lives through multidimensional narratives of the city.

II. A Stage For Energetic Youth: A Dream Illuminating Ceremony

Focusing on young students and their dreams, the ceremony presented XDU freshmen with a vast stage to pursue their aspirations. Student performers demonstrated the boundless possibilities of university life through elocnte, rhapsody, chorus, magic show, and other forms of performances. XDU Students also expressed their patriotic spirit and the pursuit of scientific excellence.

III. Heartfelt Communications: Support from Faculty and Seniors

The cameras focused intently on our new students, capturing their impressions and expectations upon entering university. Through live interviews, faculty members extended warm welcomes and shared earnest hopes. Senior students from the university offered valuable suggestions and shared their campus experiences, providing guidance to help the freshmen navigate a wonderful time at XDU.

The event serves not only as a brilliant prologue to the freshmen’s university journey, but also as a motivative starting point for the realization of their dreams. In the vibrant and innovative campus environment, the young generation of Xidian University will surely continue to fulfill their dreams and write the glorious legacy of the university in the new era.
