XDU President Prof. Xinbo Gao Delivered a Keynote Speech at

Key Session of the 2025 Euro-Asia Economic Forum

On 24 September, as a key session of the 2025 Euro-Asia Economic Forum, the 5th Silk Road Economic Belt Human Resources Development Conference concluded successfully at the International Conference Center in Xixian New Area, Shaanxi Province, China. The event drew representatives from over 30 provinces and municipalities across China, alongside government officials from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and other nations, to jointly explore new pathways for coordinated human resources development along the Silk Road.

President Prof. Xinbo Gao was invited to attend and deliver a keynote speech titled “Thoughts and Practices on the Integrated Advancement of Education, Science, Technology, and Talents”. Gao interpreted the theoretical logic and practical pathways for the integrated development of the mentioned fields from a national strategic perspective. He emphasized that education forms the foundation; science and technology provides the crucial impetus; and talent is the root of all endeavors. The interaction among these three factors constitutes the core driving force for high-quality development. Gao also introduced the “XDU Approach”, with reference to the university’s practical explorations in relevant fields.
