XDU held the celebration for the

41st Teachers’ Day and awards ceremony

Xidian University (XDU) held the celebration for the 41st Teachers’ Day and the awards ceremony on 10 September, further promoting the selection and commendation of outstanding teachers. A total of 77 personnel and 42 teams stood out and received the awards. XDU CPC Secretary Prof. Xiaolong Ren, XDU President Prof. Xinbo Gao, along with other major administrators attended the ceremony. The ceremony was chaired by Xudong Bai, Deputy CPC Secretary of XDU.

During the ceremony, Secretary Xiaolong Ren delivered a speech. In his speech, Ren first extended greetings to all XDU staff on behalf of the university. He then expressed high respect to the retired teachers who have made significant contributions to XDU, and extended congratulations to all the teachers who received awards this year. Ren called on all XDU staff to enhance their sense of honor, responsibility and mission; and to jointly promote the high-quality development of the university.

Ren presented the award “National Huang Danian style teacher team in universities” to Yunsong Li, Dean of School of Telecommunications Engineering. President Prof. Xinbo Gao, Deputy Presidents, and other major administrators then presented awards to personnel and teams respectively.

In addition, Hong Zhou as the teacher representative, delivered a speech; and Yunsong Li led all the participants to take the oath as educators.
