In order to continue carrying out innovation and entrepreneurship educationduring the COVID-19 epidemic, Xidian invited entrepreneurial instructors, investors, and outstanding project representatives to set up ‘Internet Plus’Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition courses online, providing innovation and entrepreneurship guidance and training for students.
Since March 30, 6 live broadcast online courses had been held, with a total of more than 30,000 viewers and more than 20,000 bullet-screens sent. Students from Northwest University, Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology, Xi’an Petroleum University, Xi’an Medical College, Xi’an University of Finance and Economics learnt and communicated online together with Xidian students.
Based on the preliminary investigation,‘Internet Plus’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition coursesaim at deepening students’ understanding of innovation and entrepreneurship, which intends to guide students from three aspects--entrepreneur instructor, entrepreneur, participant. Instructors guided students with their experience. Entrepreneurs talked about their true entrepreneurial experiences. Participants shared their loss and gain through the review of the competition.

Long Sun, a Ph.D. student of Xidian who won the championship of the 5th China College Students’ ‘Internet Plus’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in Shaanxi, shared his experience.
After each live broadcast, students actively shared their learning experience.
