Introduction
The Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education Program in Electronic Information Engineering is jointly offered by Xidian University and Polytech Nantes, part of the Polytech Group, France. Approved for enrollment in 2014, it plans to admit 100 students annually. This program is a collaboration between our university and the French Polytech Group, which comprises 15 engineering schools, aiming to cultivate innovative talents with an international engineering and technological background. Students in the program can have the opportunity to proceed directly to a member school of the Polytech Group to pursue an engineering degree (Master's diploma). Applicants are selected based on merit after their National College Entrance Examination scores meet the minimum admission control line for the corresponding batch in their respective province/municipality/region. During their studies at Xidian, over one-third of the core professional courses are taught by French faculty using French textbooks and delivered in French.

This program introduces advanced French educational philosophies and teaching methodologies, emphasizing the integration of theoretical teaching and engineering practice. It has produced eight graduating classes so far. Students from the program have been recommended to study at engineering schools within the Polytech Group, including Polytech Sorbonne (Sorbonne University), Université Paris-Saclay, and Polytech Nice Sophia.
Studies & Degree

The program has a four-year duration. Students who complete all academic requirements and meet the degree conferral conditions will be awarded the undergraduate graduation certificate and the Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronic Information Engineering from Xidian University. During their studies, students will undergo three qualification reviews for studying in France. Those who pass the reviews may proceed to a member institution of the Polytech Group in France for a two-year engineering study phase in their fourth year (following a "3+2" model). Credits earned during the fourth year in France are recognized as equivalent to the undergraduate degree requirements of Xidian's Electronic Information Engineering program. Upon meeting the French graduation conditions, students will receive the engineering diploma (recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Education as a Master's diploma) issued by the Commission des Titres d'Ingénieur (CTI). Holders of the engineering diploma can pursue doctoral studies in France or apply to other leading international universities for postgraduate studies.

Tuition Fee and Others
Based on educational cost accounting and approved by the Ministry of Education, the annual tuition fee for this program is 70,000 RMB (regardless of whether the student goes to France in the fourth year), excluding accommodation and textbook fees. Tuition fees for the study period in France are governed by French regulations (currently, the Polytech Group does not charge tuition fees). Students are responsible for paying the annual registration fee to the French institution (approximately not exceeding 1,000 Euros, with slight variations among different schools), accommodation fees, insurance, etc.
