Lecturer Profile

Dr. Wai Siang, Yeoh was born in Penang, Malaysia in   1984. He received the first class Bachelor of Engineering honour's degree   from Deakin University, Australia in 2005, and awarded the Ph.D. degree in   electrical and computer engineering from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology   (RMIT), Australia, in 2010.

In 2005, he joined the Intel's Board Design Centre   Malaysia (BDCM) as a board design engineer. In 2010, he was a research fellow   in RMIT University. Since late 2012, he has joint the Institute of High   Performance Computing (IHPC), A*STAR, where he is a scientist involving in a   more comprehensive and industrial oriented R&D activities, concentrating   in capability growth and IP development. 

His current research interests include wireless power   harvesting and transmission, antenna miniaturization and technology. Dr. Yeoh   is also a member of several transactions in IEEE and IET with active   publications in related fields.


Lecture Abstract

The   report contains some of the previous activities in research and development   of wireless power transmission system. The content includes general   introduction, technical theories, results and opinions. The report is   prepared to share the generic and technical information suitable for broader   range of audience.
